Những từ vựng miêu tả trong bài thi IELTS

• Những động từ miêu tả xu hướng (ở dạng nguyên thể).

1. Tăng:

Increase, grow, rise, jump, climb, escalate, improve, soar, boost, surge, swell.

2. Giảm:

Decrease, fall, drop, decline, diminish, reduce, dip, deplete, plunge, plummet.

3. Đứng yên:

Stay unchanged, remain constant, witness a period of stability, experience a period of stagnation.

4. Dao động:

Fluctuate, swing, waver, oscillate, vacillate, witness a period of inconsistency, experience a period of irregularity.

 

• Những tính từ miêu tả kích cỡ.

1.To:

Considerable, substantial, significant, sizable, extensive, ample, large, big, enormous, massive, remarkable, exponential.

2. Nhỏ:

Slight, insufficient, scanty, insignificant, unnoticeable, unremarkable, negligible.

3. Bình thường:

Moderate, regular, normal, fair.

 

• Những tính từ miêu tả tốc độ.

1.Nhanh:

Sharp, quick, rapid, sudden, steep, dramatic.

2. Chậm:

Gradual, plodding, creeping, slow.

3. Đồng nhất:

Consistent, continuous, regular, uninterrupted, constant.

 

• Những danh từ miêu tả điểm đột biến.

1.Điểm cao nhất:

Peak, highest value, greatest point.

2. Điểm thấp nhất:

Lowest value.
